As mentioned on facebook we have been involved with land tours in Papua New Guinea, with great success. Papua New Guinea tourism has produced a 56 page Tourist Guiding Techniques which is extremely comprehensive.
34 Tour Guides were booked to guide for the Pacific Dawns first visit into Alatau on Monday 02nd Nov. The day coincided with the Canoe and Kundu Festival where intricately adorned canoes are raced to the beat of powerful drums and tribes come from all over to compete in elaborate costumes.
200 local volunteers were enlisted to help everywhere and trained and advised by Bob Woods on looking after the guests. The guides and volunteers did an amazing job as did our team from Bob Woods.
